Before having children, we often dream about the type of parent we think we will be, or at least want to be. Rarely does that narrative include the dysregulated emotions and overstimulation that can come when feeling pulled in numerous directions and trying to perfectly do it all. Often focused on future to-dos and the needs of others, it can be challenging to feel grounded in the present moment.
Through self reflection, mindfulness, and intentionality, we turn inward and in the process, deepen our understanding of learned patterns of behavior, triggers, and belief systems that impact how we feel and react. We become more equipped to show up for ourselves and our families in a way that reflects living in alignment with our values.
In this workshop, we will discuss the broader concepts within conscious parenting, set the stage for exploring the important inner work, and walk away with new skills and perspective to either begin or continue your journey towards more mindful parenting. This workshop is designed for anyone contemplating parenthood and wanting to set themselves up with a strong foundation and for those already in the midst of parenthood.
Pen and paper will be provided and so while not necessary, participants are encouraged to bring a journal
