Angela first became interested in massage therapy while working in a chiropractor's office as a chiropractic assistant; she wanted to be more hands-on with patients in their care to aid their recovery. She already has a background in the healthcare field, with a Bachelor of Science in biology and allied health from Elizabethtown College. Still, it didn't allow her to help patients as much as she wanted.
Angela attended Branford Hall Career Institute's accelerated massage therapy program in November 2016 and graduated at the top of her class in May 2017. She passed Connecticut's massage licensing test and became licensed in June 2017. Angela was hired immediately by The Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center (now Connecticut Orthopaedics) in Trumbull, CT, to work alongside the chiropractor there, Dr. Michelle Pagliaro Haywood. It was here she was able to work daily with patients of all ages and for different reasons like surgery prevention, preoperative treatment, post-operative treatment, pain management, sports injuries, motor vehicle accident injuries, personal injuries, daily life mishaps, and many others. Each day, she was able to help patients with goal-oriented massage and watch them get better and live a more pain-free life. No massages are the same because no two people are the same; your massage, just like everyone else's, is unique to you and your healthcare needs.
Outside massage, Angela works as a real estate agent with her life partner and family. She enjoys reading, sailing, hunting, and spending time with her dog, Stone.
